SOME MARDI GRAS WITH YOUR FOIE GRAS?

Celebrate Mardi Gras at one of Sydney’s most sumptuous spaces - and savour a divine serving of drag on the side!

We invite all LBGTQ+ and locals alike to join us in celebrating MARDI GRAS at Becketts. And just to keep everyone guessing there will be a special guest appearance of a local identity called Ophelia Shaft. She loves to tango, shimmy and purr  but- who is 'she'? She works on the Glebe Point Road? Locals know her well? By day she in unrecognisable but by night she loves to tear down the runway in a sparkle loaded performance.  Get ready to sashay in your seats, sitting is not on the menu.

To kick off the festivities, our resident piano man Glenn Rhodes is back to sing the biggest Mardi Gras anthems. And we’ll also have a cameo appearance of a woman who will sing the hit song from Wendy Beckett’s recent production  SAPPHO. The song is titled:  ‘OH THE LADIES' 

Reserve your seat and head to Becketts where contagious laughter and great conversation are addictive. Plan a sumptuous dinner (prepared by our star chef Jeff Schroeter) or order a plate of fresh oysters.  Sip on an icy cold martini. Whatever you do,  don't miss it. It’s going to be a fabulous fun filled night!
