Chez Beckett’s Theatre Vignettes continue with a powerful new work, hosted by owner Wendy Beckett.

Between courses, experience a 20-minute vignette from The Jungle and the Sea, the acclaimed work by S. Shakthidharan and Eamon Flack.

Set against the backdrop of the Sri Lankan civil war, this deeply moving piece follows a mother’s search for her son through a landscape fractured by conflict - an intimate story of family, survival, and the enduring question of how we rebuild when everything has been torn apart.

Both haunting and profoundly human, it is a tribute to resilience, dignity, and the strength required to endure.
